Simple installation
Input/output modules, power units and remote keypads are connected to the central control unit via the E-Bus. Consistent use of the Bus technology yields many advantages, including reduced labour outlay, ultra-simple system planning and lower installation costs.
Ease of configuration and maintenance
The Sylcom® Software can be used for configuration and maintenance of the Intrunet SI series control panels. The systems can be accessed locally or via analogue and IP networks. Sylcom can also be configured as an un-operated parameter server, which the control panel can remotely access to compare the parameters for optimum system data management.
Flexible alarm transmission and verification
Various standard protocols are supported to connect the system to an Alarm Receiving Centre. A comprehensive range of add-on products is available to allow alarm verification by a receiving centre, via audio or video. Detectors can be linked to defined verification zones so that the relevant module (e.g. audio, video) can be activated immediately following the alarm. With the SI series systems, alarms can be further qualified through filtering or the use of additional verification devices, such as listen-in/speak-out devices.
Fail-safe design
The battery, mains and fuses are continuously monitored and failures are reported to the main board via the E-Bus.

The range of Intrunet LCD keypads supports the Intrunet SI series systems through additional functionality. Combinations of keypads with card reader, speaker and microphone or flaps are available, and all have plain text display to support the easy operation. Language packages are also available to allow local customisation.
The SAK84 is equipped with a proximity card reader (125kHz) for easy user access‚ speaker/microphone for alarm verification‚ soft keys and large graphical LCD for easy operation. The functionality can been hanced with the add-on module SAK9S1 (key switch module).
The SAK94 with integrated card reader offers a state of the art user interface and is optimised to operate multi-partition applications. The integrated proximity card reader (125Hz) enables easy user access. the keypad also features a built-in speaker/microphone for alarm verification, soft keys and a large graphical LCD display for ease of operation. Up to 16 partitions (depending on the control unit type and software version) can easily be managed, with 4 partitions permanently displayed. As standard, the SAK94 keypad supports the functional enhancements offered by the add-on modules SAK9S1 (key switch module) and SAK9L1 (annunciation module with function keys).
Can be used in linked mode to provide parallel indication and operation of the partitions. Standalone operation also possible for maximum flexibility of installation and use.
The universal key switch module is used to release access to SAK94 or SAK9L1. Standalone operation also possible for maximum flexibility of installation and use.
The SAK52 is identical to the SAK51. The added audio function (microphone and loudspeaker) supports applications such as alarm verification and remote help.
The SAK53 is equipped with a removable cover and an extra-large 2-line display, each consisting of 16 characters. The display and the keys are fitted with backlights. The 5 LEDs display the most important system states such as on/off, partition “unset”, “part set”, “full set”, alarm, etc.
The E-Bus components can be used to provide an interface to card readers, or to increase the number of conventional inputs in the Intrunet SI410 system. Bus isolator and repeater devices enable the incoming E-Bus to be split into 2 galvanic isolated branches, this refreshes the signals over longer distances. Addressable input / output expander devices are used to connect conventional contacts, detectors or switching devices. The panel feeds, controls and monitors the modules via the E-Bus.
The SMG71 is used to connect Wiegand readers to the SI410 control panel. It is possible to connect up to 2 card readers with Wiegand protocol to each module. Each module is equipped with 4 outputs and 2 inputs. Up to 32 SMG71 units can be connected to the Intrunet SI410. It is installed in the control panel housing, in the external power supply or in the optional universal housing unit SAH24.
The SAG91 can be used to increase the number of conventional inputs in the Intrunet SI410 control panel. A single system can manage 4 SAG91 units and each extension allows for connecting 20 SAT12 or SMT12 transponder modules (See the "Optional modules" section for more information).
All Intrunet wireless devices and peripherals can be used with SI series panels‚ thanks to the IEGW6-12 SiWay/Si2Way E-Bus gateway.
This small and discreet gateway can be connected to the panel's field bus (EBus); one gateway can support up to 12 wireless detectors/actuators(with a maximum of 2 actuators)‚ plus up to 7 remote controls. The maximum numer of gateways per system is panel-dependant:
- max. 1 gateway per SI120 system
- max. 3 gateways per SI220 system
- max. 4 gateways per SI410/420 system
The IEGW6-12 comes in a standard tamper-protected SAT12 box. It is powered directly from the E-Bus‚ and offers advanced wireless features such as 'Radio Signal Strength Indication'‚ and 'Jamming Detection' for enhanced communication reliablility.
The SAR11 can be used to divide the incoming E-Bus into two independent, electrically separated supplied partitions. In addition to this, the E-Bus signals can be received over large distances with this module.
This module is identical to the SAR11, but without the housing. It is installed directly in the control panel, in the external power supply or in the optional universal housing unit SAH24.
SI series control panel extension by 4 programmable inputs and 2 outputs via the E-Bus. 2 of these inputs can be used to connect glass break detectors.
Several communication modules are available for the Intrunet SI series intrusion control panels, and can be implemented for alarm transfer, configuration and maintenance.
The SML51-TBR dialing device connects the SI series panels with the analogue telephone network (PSTN). It supports the various different remote applications such as alarm transfer, audio / video alarm verification, configuration or maintenance. Used in connection with the SMV11, individual voice messages can also be transferred.
The SML61 dialing device connects the SI series panels with the digital network (ISDN). It supports the various different remote applications such as alarm transfer, audio / video alarm verification, configuration or maintenance. Used in connection with the SMV11, individual voice messages can also be transferred.
The SMN36 IP module connects the SI series panels with IP networks. It supports the various different remote applications such as alarm transfer, configuration, maintenance, system control or monitoring. In addition, the conventional dialing devices can be used for redundant transfer.
The SMN42 IP-interface connects the SI4xx‚ SI340‚ SI22x und SI12x with the IP-network and is easily plugged on the control unit main PCB. It supports various different remote applications such as alarm transmission‚ configuration‚ maintenance‚ system control or monitoring (depending on the control unit type).
The SMN43 IP/GSM(GPRS) interface connects the SI4xx‚ SI340‚ SI22x and SI12x to the IP and GSM (GPRS) network and is easily plugged on the control unit main PCB. It supports the various different remote applications such as alarm transmission‚ configuration‚ maintenance‚ system control or monitoring (depending on control unit type). The GPRS path is used for IP alarm transmission backup. In addition‚ the events can also be transmitted as SMS to a mobile phone.
This optional module has been designed for SI220 and SI410/420 to allow permanent voltage and current monitoring of the PSTN telephone line.
The SMV11 stores 6 alarm messages‚ 4 help messages and an identification message‚ which can be record individually with the integrated microphone.
This optional module is only applicable for country versions which havethis control panel option enabled.
The Intrunet SI series intrusion control panels provide an integrated solution for remote audio and video alarm verification. Buildings can be divided into verification zones, in each of which listening in, communicating to people or visually verifying an alarm is achievable via the keypad. Detectors can be linked to defined verification zones so that the relevant module (e.g. audio, video) can be activated immediately once the alarm is transmitted. This functionality also gives the option to request remote support using the keypad.
The WAC11 is a combined loudspeaker/microphone solution for 2-way audio alarm verification.
It can either be connected to the WAC12 or directly to the WMA11. The LED, which is lightening during microphone activation, can be switched off.
The WAC12 is a combined loudspeaker/microphone solution for 2-way alarm verification.
It is controlled via the E-Bus. It is possible to connect 3 WAC11 microphone / loudspeaker units to the WAC12 to the extend acoustic coverage.
